Math Challenge
How to participate
Math Challenge program is a free school-wide math enrichment program for elementary students consisting of series of challenging and interesting math problems.
Look for an email from the PTSA with each challenge announcement, or check this page at any time. The due dates for the whole year are listed below. Good luck!

🧠 How to Participate
Download/Open the pdf of the current Math Challenge available at button above.
Solve as many problems as you can (please pay attention to the minimum number of problems to solve successfully for your grade). We encourage you to discuss strategies and solutions with your parents and siblings and attempt as many questions as possible. Submit your solutions by 2pm on the due date through this SUBMISSION FORM.
Check Solution online. It will be available on the solution date by 3pm PST.

🏆 Recognition
There will be a lucky draw for all kids who get all answers correct for their grade level. Winners will receive an award and their name will be published in Orca Newsletter.
Kinder & First Grade: solve at least 3 problems.
Second & Third Grade: solve at least 7 problems.
Fourth Grade and above: solve at least 12 problems.
Year-End Prizes
Completion Prize: Every child who completes all of the math challenges will receive a prize.
Excellence Prize: Children who complete all the challenges and earn the highest scores will receive a special prize.
