Mindfullness Workshop

We offer a 45 minute workshop for 4th and 5th grade students (limit 30 students). 
The workshop focuses on  mindfulness techniques to help children to pay attention to their body, thoughts and emotions for more control and better decision making.

International Culture Night

One of the most anticipated and attended event of the school year.  Registration for country presentations, art/craft station and performances is now open.

Kindergarten Registration

Parents with children turning 5 before August 31st, 2020 are  encouraged to come to Kindergarten registration on February 20th  anytime between 1-7pm at Alcott's library.  An advantage   for coming on that day is that you get additional information that you might not get if you come on any other day and staff and parents will be there to answer question.

Do you have a neighbor or friend with Kindergarten kids, spread the work and encourage  them to come.

Getting ready for 2020-2021

It seems far away but our PTSA board needs to start thinking about next year. The Nomination Committee is looking for people who want to get involved.  We have small and big jobs, some that only cover one event, others that are  spread  throughout the year. ALERT

There is a scam going around where people are asked to buy gift cards for the PTSA.  The emails look like they come from the PTSA president or maybe other board members. We will NEVER asks  to buy gift cards. Please  do not follow the request  but inform us if you have received such email.

 Our school depends on community involvement. Many events would not be possible without volunteers. We have different opportunities available throughout the year, from one time involvement at events, to regular involvement (weekly, once a month or else). Some of them can be done from home.
